Western Quality is a federally inspected facility that has implemented the Food Safety Enhancement Program (FSEP) and received HACCP recognition in 2004. The HACCP procedures and programs are regularly verified by the HACCP Coordinator and CFIA inspectors.


HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is a comprehensive preventative food-safety system used to protect food from actual and potential hazards. It is a management system that addresses food safety through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards associated with all raw materials and finished product processes.
